The EPA’s 2024 Methane Rule was developed with industry input and prevents preventable pollution from leaks, flaring, and venting. The Trump administration is delaying it. We urge you to keep the 2024 Methane Rule in place<\/strong> \u2014 without further delay, weakening, or rollback. And we urge TCEQ to submit a strong Texas state plan to implement it without further postponement.<\/p>\n

Methane pollution is hurting Texans now. It worsens asthma, raises pregnancy risks, fuels the heat and storms our communities are already enduring, and wastes billions in resources that should be benefiting Texas. Proven, cost-effective fixes already exist \u2014 and responsible operators already use them.<\/p>\n
